Leopoldo Ruiz, Regional Director for Latin America, presented the results of 2021, highlighting that worldwide the company had a growth of 9.5% over the previous year, and the Americas region an active participation with the growth of 22.7% in Latin America with a growth of 35.4%, success that has been possible through the commitment and joint work with the partners.
He affirmed that Axis will redouble its efforts to expand the business and presence in the region taking as a point of reference the objectives of strengthening the channel program with more trainings and trainings, expanding the product portfolio in various business verticals, consolidating IP video through innovation and research and strengthening the partner ecosystem.

On the other hand, Mauricio Swain, Business Development Manager commented that a very important effort will be made so that by the end of 2022, more than 30% of the products have Machine Learning technology and Artificial Intelligence. Which has also been strongly enhanced by the launch of the Artpec 8 Chip, designed mainly to offer new opportunities linked to advanced analytics applications, based on deep learning at the edge.
He pointed out that there will be an accelerated increase in the demand for integral solutions since it is sought that more and more, provide a complete security system adapted to the specific needs based on the AXIS Camera Station video management system.
To meet the needs of distributors, Aidee Olvera, Distribution Manager for Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and Brazil at Axis, reinforced the commitment to meet growth opportunities, as well as the consolidation of relationships between Axis and its distributors, so that they can see the company as an ally that allows them to materialize their goals and objectives.
