Mexico. In order to increase security and better manage visitor entry, The Arcos Bosques I Tower (Tower 1) in Mexico City implemented access control solutions from HID Global.
Located in the Bosques de las Lomas neighborhood, the corporate center is composed of six buildings; among them, two skyscrapers. There are offices of law firms, industrial, mining, media, technology companies, as well as one of the most luxurious shopping centers in the city.
Advised by the systems integrator Logen, the Arcos Bosques Corporate Center chose HID Mobile Access solutions, readers and physical access card technologies, so that tenants and visitors could enter through its 16 turnstiles and reach the 32 elevators that lead to the offices, according to the permits granted. The solutions give tenants the option to use their mobile devices or physical smart cards to get in.
"Entering the building just by presenting a mobile phone is very reasonable at a time when, due to the global pandemic we are experiencing, we are looking for ways to eliminate contact with objects," said Santiago Morett, project director of Servicon and director of infrastructure at Arcos Bosques. "HID Mobile Access has given us contactless entry and increased security in the building, things that are more important than ever to our tenants," Morett noted.
The mobile access solution also allows administrators to create, issue, manage and revoke credentials remotely through the cloud infrastructure. Servicon, the company that operates and manages the Arcos Bosques complex, can now continuously view information about access to the building through a unified and updated minute-by-minute database, which contains the names of tenants, affiliated companies and the tower's workplaces.

"HID's access control solutions lay the foundation for optimal monitoring and control, while preserving people's health and safety," he concluded.
