Latin America. Johnson Controls unveiled the introduction of eight new products to its Tyco Illustra Flex camera line.
With optimized image processing, better low-light performance, and secure boot protection against cyberattacks, the new Illustra Flex Gen3 cameras, which comply with the U.S. National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), are designed to offer cost-effective, high-performance solutions for almost any video surveillance application. The Illustra Flex Gen3 can be connected to Johnson Controls' OpenBlue platform, a complete suite of connected solutions that delivers sustainability, new healthy user experiences, and safety and security tools.
Illustra Flex Gen3 cameras are aesthetically appealing, take up little space and come in different formats: bullet, indoor minidome, outdoor minidome and compact. The new 3 MP models will replace the existing 3 MP Illustra Flex Gen2 cameras. The 8 MP (4K) models, which include an integrated intelligent analytical video package to improve situational awareness and speed up response, complement 4K Flex Gen2 cameras, as well as making exception reporting easier.
The external cameras are equipped with built-in adaptive IR illuminators that allow them to capture clear and sharp images both day and night, regardless of lighting conditions, at a distance of up to 40 meters, while the IR illuminators of compact cameras only reach 15 meters away.
