Friends of the security industry, we start this year 2021 with all the motivation and with news! I tell you that SECURITY SALES has reached its 25th anniversary and we are happy to continue with you by bringing you the most important information in the electronic security industry.
I, as Editorial Chief of Latin Press, inc. our publishing house headquartered in Miami and corporate offices in Medellin, Colombia, and Mexico City, am pleased to be part of this family for over 11 years and look forward to adding many more along with all of you.
I tell you that VENTAS DE SEGURIDAD was a publication of the American publishing house Bobit Publishing of California, who worked on it during the first four editions. Later he moved to Latin Press under the presidency of Max Jaramillo and with the participation as Editor of Víctor Alarcón. Several journalists have passed through our magazine who left their mark. In addition to Víctor, Julián Arcila, Ana María Restrepo and Santiago Jaramillo were editors. Today, under my leadership, I have a responsibility to continue to leave the brand at the top.
To fulfill this purpose I tell you another novelty: this year we became 100% digital. That is, from this edition our publication, which is still bimonthly, can be downloaded from our website www.ventasdeseguridad.com and read digitally. For that reason, the print edition will only be seen at some of the most important fairs in the region. So we hope to reach many more readers and deliver the information with greater immediacy. We also renewed our logo!
It only remains for me to thank all those who have been participants so that we have managed to reach these 25 years, this includes our collaborators, allies, customers and, of course, you our readers, who we hope will continue to accompany us for many more years.
