Argentina. The municipality of Libertador General San Martín joined the Network of softGuard's "Safe Municipality" program.
In a work side by side with its Mayor, Engineer Oscar Ramon Jayat and SoftGuard as a technological partner, the municipality received training in the use of Tics, diagramming innovative public policies through the use of tools of the "Safe Municipality" Program.
The project is led by David Cepeda, forming a group of operators who will have the task of acting on the different demands of citizens creating a true operational center. In the coming weeks the last stage of the project will begin with training meetings with the organizations that will be involved, police, firefighter, gendarmerie, civil defense and municipal areas.
"The new normal makes citizens not only demand quality and efficiency in the provision of public services but also demand to participate in the definition and articulation of local development by forming a collaborative prevention community," said Romina Capuros, Marketing at SoftGuard.
What is the "Safe Municipality" Program about?
It is a set of tools for alert management, citizen security and municipal management, which strengthens the link between the neighbor and those who govern it and make it a participant to achieve a collaborative and integrated community in order to improve management, security and assistance to the neighbor covering the different areas such as childhood, gender violence, disability in the elderly, public works, environment, among others.
What is Smartpanics?
The SmartPanic app of the "Safe Municipality" program allows the neighbor to report emergencies to the monitoring center: S.O.S., assistance, ambulance request to receive immediate help, among many other functions.
The customization of its alert system allows to generate programs focused on different vulnerable sectors or that require the focused distribution of this technology.
SmartPanics is also an Integral System for citizen security and alert management, which allows you to maintain procedures with all areas of the Municipality efficiently, coordinating actions online to resolve demands through technology, allowing you to be an actor and auditor of your own claims.
