International. Altronix announced the release of new Environmentally Protected PoE Switches and Media Converters that support the latest 802.3bt PoE devices. These end-to-end fiber optic and PoE solutions enable various high-powerED IP devices, such as multi-sensor cameras, white or infrared illuminators, and wireless access points, to be deployed in remote locations with or without local power.

- The NetWaySP4BTWP is a ruggedized 4-port outdoor PPoE switch, supporting 802.3bt with integral power. It is equipped with two GB SFP (fiber) ports, as well as VLAN support. The NetWaySP4BTWP supports single-mode/multi-mode fiber media converter NetWay Spectrum fiber converters.
- The NetWaySP4BTWPN model is designed for applications where local power is not available. Seamlessly accepts hybrid cable power (fiber + copper) to support 802.3bt, 4PPoE peripheral devices. The use of hybrid cable supports the delivery of power and data from NetWay Spectrum header media converters/injectors, such as the new NetWaySP4PX.
- The NetWaySP4PX is a 4-port Ethernet to fiber media converter with an integral power supply/charger for use with hybrid cable applications where fiber + power will be delivered over long distances to support peripheral devices when local power is not available. This unit is designed for rack installation at the header and offers four 1 Gb SFP (fiber) ports and four 120 W (480 W total) power terminals to be transmitted to various NetWay Spectrum PoE reinforced switches.
Altronix's LINQ technology is integrated into NetWay PoE switches to control, monitor and report power/diagnostics or restart devices from virtually anywhere.
