Mexico. Eng. Omar Larrondo Mancilla is the General Manager of the Mexican company CTSL SRL de CV, based in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, who tells us about his journey in the industry and his expectations with his participation in ConsorcioTec.
Eng. Omar started in the area of telecommunications and security at the age of 19, in Isten Telecomunicaciones, in the sales area in which he stood out for his results and exceeding his goals; later he completed the Computer Network Engineering at the ETAC University, and then he reached the sales management at Isten Telecomunicaciones, leading a group of 20 salespeople to achieve their sales goals, as well as the implementation of sales plans and strategies.
Later, in 2013, Eng. Omar created his company CTSL S de RL de CV, where during these seven years he has carried out important security projects: "We have installed security cameras for mayors of Mexico City such as Álvaro Obregón, security implementation in Hyundai Mobis Parts, where we support with the implementation of IP CCTV, within our trajectory this is also Seguros Thona, which we support with the implementation of structured cabling network, access control and CCTV. In these seven years we have developed several projects and we have tried to position the company among the best in the industry and in turn support the source of jobs for people, our goal is to position the company among the best in Mexico in the field of Telecommunications and Security, "he said.
On what it has meant to be in charge and lead CTSL, Eng. Omar said: "It is the most important challenge of my career, since it has cost a lot of work to position the company and achieve sales goals, always seeking to give a comprehensive and reliable solution to customers, and above all within reach of their economy; I am proud to carry out this project that represents my dream and above all satisfaction of being able to help people to have security and tranquility for their home or office, and above all to be able to create sources of employment and thus support people".
On his expectations with his participation in ConsorcioTec, our guest mentioned that "it is a very good initiative, to seek the implementation and positioning of the company in the field of security, I hope to have positioning of the company within the market, as well as to be able to reach more people and make the name of the company more known".
Finally, Eng. Omar shared his analysis of this year for the security industry with the current situation of the pandemic. "It is a challenge to be able to face this great adversity of the pandemic, especially due to the economic effects, but at the same time I think it represents a great opportunity, because new market options are opening, such as thermal cameras, facial biometrics for temperature measurement, as well as other devices of new technology and avant-garde, to be able to attack the new market niches; once again comes the question of innovating and reinventing, as well as seeking adaptability."
