Mexico. Dahua Technology announced the launch of a new access control and assistance solution with body thermal detection designed for the process of reopening economic activities in compliance with the new standards promoted by the government, applicable to all companies and industries in general.
The new access control and assistance systems arrive to support government protocols and regulations to give security to both customers and employees to interact minimizing risks of contagion.
Currently, several countries are preparing a progressive reopening of companies and government institutions; in the case of Mexico, the mining, construction and manufacturing of transport equipment sectors will be the first, supported by the Strategy for the Reopening of Social, Educational and Economic Activities, promoted by the government in what is called The New Normality.
Access control and assistance solutions with body temperature detection can be added to the security processes of each company such as hand disinfection stations, temperature monitoring of customers and staff, capacity control, contactless customer service, to mention a few examples.
Access Control and Assistance with Body Thermal Detection
The new access control solution enables the monitoring and detection of body temperature and facial recognition, technologies enabled by Artificial Intelligence to provide double value to companies, strengthening prevention strategies while helping to create the right conditions for a progressive reopening of activities.
Its main features are:
• Temperature monitoring and detection, alarm and notification of abnormal temperature and omission of the use of masks, with response time of 0.2 seconds, at a distance of 0.3 - 1.8 meters with an accuracy range of ± 0.5°C.
• Contactless access to reduce cross-infection, derived from direct contact between people or from materials that are used frequently.
• Limit or restrict access to people who do not comply with the use of masks, who have abnormal temperature, and people who do not have authorization.
• Easy to install, flexibility to look at one place or change its location according to the needs of each organization.
• Large storage of facial images and temperature information for easy incident tracking.
• Quick access to prevent capacity control.
• Attendance control with check-in, check-out, lunchtime, delays and non-attendance.
Sánchez Xia, CEO of Dahua in Mexico, stressed that organizations must be prepared to adapt to the strategies of progressive reopening of companies and institutions, as it is one of the first steps for the economic reactivation of the country, however, it must be taken into account that technologies such as access control and assistance with body temperature monitoring will be vital to maintain a firm prevention scheme against COVID-19, that reduces the risk of a second wave of infections.
