United States. Boon Edam confirmed the appointment of Patrick Nora as the new President and Managing Director of Boon Edam's factory organization in the Americas (Boon Edam Manufacturing) in Lillington, Carolina del Note.
Patrick will work alongside Valerie Anderson, President and CEO of the trade organization (Boon Edam Inc.), to manufacture and deliver premium safety entrances and architectural revolving doors to customers in the Americas. As Ceo of the factory, Patrick will oversee the management of operational efficiency, safety and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment and will stay in touch with other Boon Edam management stakeholders to meet the customer's ever-evolving needs.
"Having seen Patrick's passion for improvement and his leadership over the past two years, I am excited about Patrick's promotion to Managing Director of our manufacturing operations," says Anderson. "As we continue to introduce services to some of the world's largest organizations, which presents more demand and complexity in our factory, Patrick's manufacturing expertise and proven commitment will be an excellent fit for continued success."
Patrick began his manufacturing career at Loranger Manufacturing, where he specialized in training staff on ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and QS (Quality System) requirements. He then worked at Boeing in Long Beach, California, and held managerial positions in Quality Assurance and Production. Patrick then spent 18 years as a management consultant, helping more than 50 companies in 9 different countries grow their businesses by teaching continuous improvement processes, leadership and team development.
Patrick joined the Boon Edam factory in April 2018 as Operations Manager and immediately established new procedures related to improving safety, quality and productivity. With his recent promotion, Patrick is passionate about working to engage everyone in all roles and working together to improve outcomes.
