Mexico. A total of 111 security products donated Hikvision to the Faculty of Higher Studies Aragon, a multidisciplinary academic entity of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, an initiative that is part of its social responsibility actions.
Among the products are security cameras of various types -such as bullet-type thermal cameras and the PanoVu IP camera, ideal for designing a security system in large surfaces-, alarm sensors, infrared, access controls, video intercoms, magnetic locks, card readers, alpha numeric accesses, emergency levers, switches, among other accessories and high-end complementary products.
"At Hikvision we want to do the right job that contributes to society. In this way, our activities as a responsible company will create value and have a positive impact on society as a whole," says Fran Sánchez, Marcom Manager for Hikvision Latam.
For his part, Fernando Macedo Chagolla, Director of the Faculty of Higher Studies Aragon, indicates that with these equipment the students of the careers of Electronic Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, as well as the Postgraduate in Home Automation of the Architecture career, will be able to carry out practices and useful projects for their academic training.
"For us it is an honor to have this synergy with Hikvision, as it is a company that cares about the benefit of society. It will be a pleasure to be able to integrate their solutions into the professional development of our students who, at the end of the day, are the ones who will implement the solutions in the real world, which is a win-win for everyone," says Felipe de Jesús Gutiérrez, Secretary of Liaison and Development of fes Aragón. "This donation will be used mainly in our L3 Laboratory "Electronic Electric", where we teach workshops on electricity and magnetism, analysis of electrical circuits, electronic devices, designs of digital systems, microprocessors and micro controllers, which will serve for students to develop real projects that are executed within the faculty."
For his part, José Luis Ordoñez, Director of Business Development, South Zone of Hikvision Mexico, indicated that for the company it is essential to maintain a link between school, teaching and the labor field: "We are very excited to make synergy with this House of Studies. Within Hikvision, this model is constantly replicated worldwide, mainly in countries where we have a technological development center. This allows us to live with different universities and institutes and know their vision on the direction and trends of the market, which helps a lot to instruct students in their professional lives".
