Latin America. Johnson Controls unveiled its exacqVision 19.12 VMS, which improves security and communications with ONVIF two-way audio support and offers more camera licensing flexibility for enterprise manager customers, adding to Exacq's VMS software features.
The integration of Exacq's ONVIF cameras allows you to talk and listen through IP cameras equipped with audio I/O. This new feature is present in the exacqVision 19.12 model and is for companies that use cameras located at entrances to authorize the entry of visitors. Operators can hear what a visitor is saying and respond through the camera's outgoing audio channel.
Another step in Exacq's enhancement of enterprise management capabilities is that camera licenses can now be purchased in bulk and those that remain unused are saved in Enterprise Manager until they need to be deployed. In addition, Software Support Agreements (SSA) for camera licenses will not expire in Enterprise Manager.
"The enhanced features of Exacq's enterprise solution give administrators greater control, making it easier to manage licenses and maximize uptime," said Jordan Linback, Product Manager, exacqVision.
The release of this new software also offers exacqVision Edge support for Illustra Pro Gen3 customers; this makes it possible to run exacqVision Edge on Pro Gen3 cameras.
Exacq Mobile features a more mobile camera user experience and better performance when viewing multiple camera streams. By simply tapping a camera panel, mobile users can see the flow in full screen, as well as access camera-like options. If a user touches the panel of a single camera, they are no longer disconnected from other live streams; this allows you to quickly move to other streams when returning to live multi-camera viewing.
Real-time Transmission Protocol (RTSP) flow management is now built into the exacqVision server; As a result, users can configure an RSTP flow for a camera directly from the exacqVision client, which greatly simplifies integration with exacqVision for customers.
