Colombia. With a rich program of conferences and short courses, DataNet Andino 2019 is projected as the most important event of Networks, Voice and Data in the region. Nine expert speakers will be in charge of updating attendees on topics as current as technology in data centers, the Internet of Things and high-speed networks. Until next September 6, those interested can enjoy the 2x1 promotion at the entrance to the congress.
The first day of lectures will be held on Wednesday, October 23 from 2:00 p.m. The day will begin with the inaugural conference "Data Centers: Causes, impacts and lessons", by Josué Ramírez Rodríguez, director of Business Development Chile & Colombia of the Uptime Institute.
Then, at 3:00 p.m., Carlos Castro, CEO of the Syros Group, will give the talk "IOT in Smart Buildings". In it he will explain the different applications of the IOT in smart buildings in terms of lighting, load control, security, alarms, HVAC and energy management, equipment, BMS and big data applied thanks to the installed devices.
Continuing the day will come Alipio Caro Ribero RCDD / ATD, Manager of NFC Electronics. His lecture will be "Infrastructure for High Speed Networks in Data Center", at 3:45 p.m. The conference will showcase the latest developments in structured cabling and interfaces in copper and fiber optics to support high-speed networks in data center environments.
"Physical Security for Datacenters", will be the talk that will take place at 4:15 .pm., in this, Angélica María Pérez, Business Development Manager of ABLOY, will explain the physical risks of intrusion, physical access, fire, among others, must be controlled by Standardized Systems and specialized in each risk.
The closing of the day will be with the conference "ISO 20000", at 5:00 p.m., by Nyce Colombia.
On the second day of the congress, in room 517, at 1:30 p.m. the short course "ISO 29110" will be held, exclusively for premium attendees. This standard and the certification processes apply to companies in the Information Technology – IT sector, particularly those dedicated to software development and maintenance.
The next conference on the second day will be "HCI - The Monopoly of Hyperconvergence in Colombia", a brief description of hyperconvergence solutions, the differences between the different hyperconverged software assemblers and the analysis of the hardware that each manufacturer supports. This talk will be at 3:30 p.m., by Rafael Antonio León Rincón, Presales and After-Sales Engineer of RedComputo Ltda.
Next, the topic "Intelligent video surveillance vs data privacy" will be presented, by Jefferson Andrés Solano Sarmiento, Sales Consultant of the Electronic Security & Emergencies for Informatics line of El Corte Ingles (IECISA). The chala starts at 4:15 p.m.
To close with a flourish the general programming of the congress, the short course "Fundamentals of Routing & Switching" will be presented, exclusively for premium attendees, by Marco Colmenares, E&S Instructor from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This short course will provide attendees with basic knowledge regarding the architecture, components and operation of routers and switches, without neglecting the promotion of practical capabilities in this fascinating world of networks and communications.
