The ability to process videos in real time and automatically, in order to detect anomalies, will have a great impact on how cities use their infrastructures.
Francisca Sánchez, Marcom Manager of Hikvision Latam explains that innovations in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Learning have transformed standard video monitoring by incorporating functions that alert in real time. He says they are introducing smart solutions for public and commercial safety applications, such as safe cities, intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and smart stores, thereby helping to create safer communities, better transit centers and more efficient business operations.
