Mexico. Milestone Systems will be at Expo Seguridad México (May 7-9 – at Citibanamex) to present its new proposals focused on video management.
First of all, and seeking to get the most out of the cloud, the company has already begun to deal with projects to offer hybrid solutions to its partners, combining cloud solutions and solutions installed on the servers of companies.
This is in addition to the plan to increase innovation capacity by 45% by the end of 2019, an announcement made official by the brand months ago. The objectives of this investment will be to boost the ability to develop cutting-edge innovations, such as greater integration of controllers, advanced image processing, the internet of things and metadata sources, online services, advanced data management and the Software Development Kit (SDK) of the Milestone Systems platform.

In the first quarter of 2019, Milestone held its three Integration Platform Symposia (MIPS) in the cities of Nashville, Copenhagen and Bali; events that brought together nearly 2,000 attendees and 124 exhibitors from around the world.

In this version, there will be demonstrations of the XProtect 2019 R1, which is the first version of the video management software that extends the functionality of the Smart Client and takes it out of the control room, allowing both unidirectional and bidirectional audio in the mobile client. A novelty, among the many of this new version of the software, which benefits the security personnel who move and whose tasks sometimes require them to be away from the workplace.
Finally, this will be the opportunity to inform local partners about the new office that Milestone has in the Mexican capital, a project that was forged thanks to the company's growth in the region and which seeks to offer better advisory service and technical support to partners in the region.
