GVS Colombia presented its new strategic ally for its CCTV line: Dahua Technology

Colombia. GVS Colombia took the distribution of Hikvision since 2011, maintaining during these seven years, a very good reputation in the management and positioning of the brand as leaders in the electronic market.

By the end of 2018, GVS Colombia makes the determination to deliver the distribution of Hikvision, since its vision in the CCTV market in Colombia is different from that projected by that brand. Despite this decision, it will continue to provide support and guarantee when customers require it.

According to its legal representative, Joel Terán, "GVS Colombia has always thought that the distribution of security equipment should be in the hands of specialized people and not in the hands of product marketing companies, in order to have professional integrators in the field of electronic security in the market."

This is how a new alliance arises with Dahua Technology, a company that shares the same vision of GVS Colombia; remaining as the only distributors nationwide the company IPC, LINCE COMERCIAL and GVS COLOMBIA, leading companies in electronic security systems, which will allow the Dahua Technology brand to be well represented in Colombia.

Price, Quality, Service, Support and Factory Certifications will be the flags that will mark the 2019 route for GVS Colombia, a company that celebrates ten years of experience in Colombia and that has headquarters located in Cali, Bogotá, Medellín and Barranquilla, thus generating 145 direct jobs and more than 3500 indirect jobs at the service of our customers and also, of a professional team specialized in electronic security systems and a network of authorized distributors in other cities of the country.

As for the support that GVS Colombia provided to Hikvision through five service centers, from February they will begin to provide the service for the Dahua Technology brand, thus strengthening its coverage in Colombia and also innovating with a guarantee system in the market.

"We are looking for strategic allies that bet on joint growth, which goes hand in hand with common interests, oriented to the expectations and needs of the market, not only in a competing factor for price, but for quality and above all for service. Dahua offered us a strong package and also sees in us the opportunity and support of having a good distributor with experience, experience and aware that security must be in the hands of experts knowledgeable about the subject, "says Ricardo José Pomenta González, general manager of GVS Colombia.

With this new strategic alliance Dahua Technology wants to reorganize its market, since they are sure that as was achieved with Hikvision, from 2019 GVS Colombia will be able to strengthen and consolidate the Dahua Technology market aimed at companies dedicated to the electronic security systems sector.

"Colombia is a very important market for us, so we always want to consolidate ourselves in offering the best products and solutions with local service for our customers. We are sure that with the new commitment to cooperate together with GVS, we will be able to grow and develop more market in the coming years," says Edwin Suen, general manager for Dahua Colombia.
