User experience key in the future of surveillance services

Latin America. In today's surveillance services it's all about balance: preserving security while improving the end-user experience.  Usually it is not the company that hires the security services but the clients of the latter.

An example is a shopping center that hires a surveillance company to guarantee security in its facilities, although it is this one who chooses the company and pays for the contract, who really perceive the security and enjoy the benefits are the visitors who tour the site.

It is these, the end customers, who rate and give the final say on the lived experience and directly influence the decision of the shopping center to maintain or remove the contracted security company.  So the focus of security companies should be to create memorable user experiences for each market in which they provide the service.

The security guard is usually the first person to be found in hundreds of establishments, it is the first face that the client sees, the first contact he has and therefore he must represent an extension of what the store, hospital, airport, shopping center or commerce wants to deliver as a service experience to its customers.  It is not just a figure with procedures, you must be trained in customer service, be prepared to answer business questions, and be ready to deliver greater value.

The use of technology is a key axis to create memorable user experiences, technological tools provide security servers with more information, control and capacity while optimizing their performance and therefore are a key piece in the development of the security business in the future.  In the current era you can not create user experience without technology.
