Latin America. Axis Communications' 2019 year begins with the appointment of Rodrigo Guedes, to assume the company's South American marketing guidelines.
With more than a decade of experience in the IT market, the Brazilian, who since 2013 has been part of the Axis team, will establish the marketing strategy to consolidate the new phase of the company, which has diversified its portfolio.
"The financial reports released by Axis throughout 2018, with record global growth in sales, show that the commitment to diversifying the portfolio to encompass IP audio and IP access control solutions has been successful, and this allows the company to have an even broader influence in the market. Our marketing team is committed to driving all the opportunities arising from this new strategic positioning of the company," explains Guedes.
The new position was announced by Axis Regional Director Alessandra Faria. "Over the past 6 years, as part of the marketing team, Rodrigo has proven to have a good understanding and a proactive way to consistently add value and contribute to our sales strategy. He has also built a good networking and has a strong communication ability with our corporate marketing team, becoming a reference to other regions," he said.
With the change, the position of Solutions Marketing Specialist for South America, based in São Paulo, previously held by Guedes, will be filled this quarter, through new hires.
