Vivotek: Loyalty with its customers in the sale and after-sales

Vivotek, is the most important manufacturer of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)  and IP in Taiwan, founded in 2000, maintains a constant growth in several countries, among its main bets are smart cities, said its president Owen Chen.

This company not only markets products but solutions, which allows it to do business with wholesalers, among its main branches are those located in Silicon Valley, Dubai, Japan and Mexico, among others.

Its president indicated that in their culture the important thing is integrity, so they market products only through their distributors. "When an integrator gets an important project, if the client requires it, we advise them on their projects."

Vivotek offers solutions for any sector: transport, security and retail, to name a  few. "Many of our customers don't require CCTV for security, they just need to look at the number of  people entering a mall and how many they buy, as well as the attention offered to shoppers."

Some nations  are looking for equipment with  facial recognition and unit plate detection.

In each region it is necessary to speak in the language of the engineers, where technical support and service is vital to continue growing in the region.

As for the growth of Vivotek in 2018, in countries such as Colombia this was spectacular due to the technology and quality of its products, as well as the attention in sales and after-sales.
The demand for CCTV for public safety, as well as the replacement of analog technologies by IP, made 2018 an excellent year.

Meanwhile, Alex Rodriguez, Vivotek Mexico, who recently joined the company, considered that working with this manufacturer is an excellent opportunity, having a potential of products in the market, as well as novelties that will be marketed next year.

In his opinion in the market he is tired of buying cheap products of poor quality, causing the customer to buy twice. Vivotek have products of excellent quality at competitive prices.

"We seek to generate long-term relationships with our customers, to whom we first sell and later become our friends, our loyalty with our customers allows us to take care of the channel. We are a company that delivers on what it promises," said Alex Rodriguez.

Finally, Sara Amorim,  BR&AR, Country Manager, reported that growth targets were met in Brazil and Argentina with a sales level close to 20 percent, exceeding original expectations in these important markets.

He indicated that Vivotek is thinking of expanding the number of distributors and integrators, but first it is necessary to certify them to offer direct support.
When talking about the analog market in the region, he estimated that it is representative in some countries where the price is still important for customers.
In his view, it was important for Brazil and Argentina to explain to the market the advantages of the analogue system and IP. "We can't offer the same technology to the retail market as even an airport or oil rig."

He pointed out that they are optimistic to observe strong growth for 2019 because governments will invest resources in citizen security and the capture of vehicle license plates.
Finally, he said that what Vivotek is interested in is creating friendships and customers who know the advantages of the brand. For more information:
