Latin America. Voice over IP (VoiP) is just one of the new features of Kronos NET in version 3.3 that will be available to all customers of the software in the first quarter of 2019, as usual this new version will apply to all customers with active license.
VoIP broadens the application landscape
The compatibility of the system with the SIP protocol, used by IP telephone plants, voice systems and video systems with audio will allow the monitoring center to initiate communications with these devices directly from the operation consoles, record the communication and associate it with all the activities with the accounts.
More detailed operator procedures
Now the on-screen procedures for the operator will have more options and referrals based on each of the steps performed previously, so the system will indicate to the operator the next step to take in each possible situation. These sequences in the procedure are pre-assigned by the operation managers to minimize errors.
More video integration features
A higher level of integration with video systems will allow to take even more advantage of the signals generated by recorders and cameras such as motion detection, line crossing, video loss, among others. In addition, the display and operation of video systems will be optimized for the operator and automatic tasks such as cyclic image capture are added, it will also be possible to tag areas in video image captures.
New drivers for video systems such as Ganz, Provision, Novux and Introx join the already known and improved compatibilities with Dahua, Hikvision and Mobotix. The Onvif protocol remains to add any supported video system.
Available in the first quarter of 2019
Kronos NET 3.3 will be available to all active system and new customers in the first quarter of 2019. Companies that want to apply to a test process with an alternate installation will be able to do so from December 2019.
