Latin America. ADME, Inc., parent company of Apollo Security Access Control, has announced the creation of a new sales and support division exclusively for its OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) of software and integrators.
This new division, called ApolloEM, will be responsible for supporting industry partners using Apollo's hardware platforms alongside their own software solutions.
"Providing unique hardware solutions to our customers has been an important part of Apollo's business from the beginning," said William Lorber, vice president of sales and marketing.
"Establishing a separate division to strengthen our role as an Access Hardware OEM became logical as more partners come together to utilize our new product line."
Lorber explained that Apollo's new ASP Series Controllers allow for easy integration and subsequent factory customization with scripting.
The flagship of the new hardware series, ASP-4 is an integrated four-door controller/reader interface designed for secure, high-volume applications.
In addition to expansion options via OSDP to support up to 20 readers, ASP-4 can work on a cluster of network devices to support up to 128 gates that function as a single management unit.
Other features such as a native open platform SDK, built-in application scripting, and support for third-party serial devices make the ASP series an attractive choice for system integrators and software OEMs in the security industry.
ApolloEM will provide support to existing partners as well as potential new ones. Upcoming events for 2018 include Security Essen and ASIS/GSX, as well as technical and product seminars around the world.
