Latin America. An industry-leading feature for very low-light environments, ExtraLUX will now be available across Hanwha Techwin's range of cameras in its popular X series.
Thanks to the powerful Wisenet 5 auxiliary integrated circuit and processing technology, cameras with the extraLUX function capture sharp, natural-colored images in low-light conditions without IR LEDs, in any environment and at any time of the day.
Using Hanwha motorized varifocal lenses with a .94 f-stop and a 1/2" CMOS sensor, the extraLUX function allows you to capture sharper and clearer images than ever before.
"We developed the extraLUX feature for customers who need to capture images in environments with very little light," said Paul Kong, technical director of Hanwha Techwin America. "This is the best type of camera for low-light conditions we've ever produced." Unlike white and very grainy images, due to IR (infrared), which were common in the past, cameras with extraLUX generate a minimum grain level in the images, which allows customers to view night images in color."
The XNB-6005, XNO-6085R (bullet type), XNV-6085 (outdoor dome) and XND-6085 (indoor dome) cameras already have the extraLUX function. These cameras have motorized varifocal lenses (4.1mm~16.4mm) that will allow the user to zoom in/out and focus remotely. The cameras of the XND-6085 and XNV-6085 series have the full PTRZ function (horizontal movement, vertical, zoom and rotation), which allows to improve their control and positioning. The XNB-6005 box-type camera also features a 1/2" sensor and a wide selection of lens settings, including smart CS (I-CS) lenses that communicate your position, iris aperture, and focus directly to the camera for more accurate and faster image adjustments.
In addition, the XNO-6085R, XNV-6085, XND-6085 and XNB-6005 cameras have a built-in gyroscopic sensor for digital image stabilization that allows for stable and more accurate images when the cameras are put into operation in an environment that causes the camera to shake. To illuminate distant objects, the XNO-6085R has a built-in infrared with a range of 229 feet (70 m).
Wisenet X Series cameras feature Wisenet 5 technology that offers 150dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), a complete suite of unlicensed analysis tools, increased device security, and improved data compression and transfer thanks to Hanwha's WiseStream II compression technology and high-efficiency H.265 encoding standard.
