Hikvision launches the new Easyip 3.0 product range

Latin America. Hikvision launches the new EasyIP 3.0 product range – using Hikvision's internal coding technology, the remarkable H.265+, based on the H.265/HEVC standard. This new range offers better storage, better image, better analysis and better usability.

"Hikvision has been creating effective and real security solutions for over 15 years. Built on smart applications of smart products and advanced technology, the EasyIP 3.0 solution truly makes video surveillance simple, practical and affordable," said Keen Yao, VP at Hikvision International Business Center.

Hikvision H.265+ Smart Codec
Providing the intelligence behind a new range of cameras and NVRs, the EasyIP 3.0 range delivers superior video performance across a wide range of parameters using the H.265+ intelligent coding algorithm. By addressing the archiving of unnecessary elements within surveillance scenes, such as static backgrounds, subjects with limited movement, and the impact of noise on video surveillance at night, Hikvision's H.265+ technology reduces by more than 50% (compared to the H.265 standard) the amount of bandwidth required, storage and associated costs.

4K Ultra HD Video
Under this highly efficient compression technology, H.265+ promotes the use of ultra HD video surveillance solutions using 4K cameras in addition to 2, 3, 5 and 8 megapixel models – which are available in Hikvision's EasyIP 3.0 range.

To help deliver maximum image performance in a variety of real-world lighting conditions, including variable light, high contrast or light-deficient scenarios, all cameras in the new EasyIP 3.0 range have been equipped with real 120 dB WDR. The camera range also features Hikvision's EXIR 2.0 with Smart IR capabilities, 3D DNR and Darkfighter ultra-low lighting technology – providing high-quality colour images, even in extremely low-light scenes.

Enhanced VCA features
Within the EasyIP 3.0 range, one of the improvements to the camera includes greater analytical functionality compared to previous generations, with video content analysis (VCA) options in panel, to put into operation automatic alarm activations. Standard VCA functionality includes line crossing detection, intrusion detection, object removal detection, unattended suitcase detection and face detection, significantly reducing operator information, resulting in more efficient and effective security system management.

More usable and durable
Designed to cope with harsher operating conditions, many camera models in Hikvision's new EasyIP 3.0 range are fully protected from dust and water, IP67 certified and vandal resistant in accordance with the IK10 standard. In addition, PoE up to 300 meters guarantees maximum installation flexibility, with the entire Range of EasyIP 3.0 providing high levels of security, control and economical analog, IP or mixed system solutions.
