Latin America. SoftGuard will be presenting at the Mobile World Congress 2017, from February 27 to March 2 in Barcelona, the SmartPanics app.
SmartPanics is the most revolutionary application in terms of personal and family safety. It works as a virtual emergency keypad that allows you to send Emergency, Medical Assistance or Fire events informing the exact location to the monitoring center that will give professional attention to treat emergencies and give treatment with the relevant authorities, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In addition to the panic, medical emergency and fire buttons, the app has the possibility to mark the "On the way" button, where the user will get a passive tracking from where he is to the point on the map he has defined or for the determined time he configures. If the user is hijacked, diverted from their route or does not reach their destination in the stipulated time, the application will be sending an alert to the monitoring center to act accordingly. Meanwhile, the Smartphone will be reporting position every 20 seconds, so that the whereabouts of the user can be known from the Monitoring Center.
SmartPanics also allows you to make "groups" where you can track the security of your family members with SmartPanics apps allowing you to know their location at all times. You can also create "geofences" of exclusion and intrusion where when entering or leaving the "geofences" previously armed the administrator will receive an alert via email or sms.
In addition to the skills of SmartPanics is the possibility of tracking relatives, for example, in case of having children of adolescent age, alerts can be programmed on the Smartphone to send warnings in case they move at an excessive speed, if they had little battery in the cell phone or if they deactivate the tracking.
