HikvisionPro Experience takes hold in Colombia

Colombia.  Hikvision launched in Colombia its HikvisionPro concept, a new definition of more advanced and professional equipment, with the most innovative technology in the industry, for large-scale projects with very competitive prices.

For the presentation of the concept, three events were held in the main Colombian cities: in Bogotá, on November 24; in Cali, on the first of December, and Medellín, on December 6.

In the meetings, a cocktail was shared with prominent businessmen and integrators of the electronic security industry of the South American country and there was space to make demonstrations and raffles of the products of the line.

"Attendees got a clear picture of what HikvisionPro means and its cutting-edge features in terms of technological development and versatility of use in different vertical markets. The fact that during the events we could count on live HikvisionPro product demos was a plus point. Attendees were able to see first-hand the incredible performance of cameras with their own analytics, mobile surveillance and equipment with 4K resolution, "said José García, Marketing Director for Latin America of the brand.

Likewise, during the meetings in the three cities, the team that represents the company in Colombia had the opportunity, for the first time, to officially present itself to its clients to offer them the confidence of having a group of reliable professionals, with a solid and growing company that plans to open an office in the country by February 2017.

The three events were a success in terms of the dissemination of new products, the establishment of new contacts and the consolidation of new business. According to García, "although the main objective of the event was to communicate the HivkisionPro concept as the rebranding of the most advanced product family of the Hikvision portfolio, it was also intended to achieve outstanding integrators in each city that had not been contacted by Hikvision during the year and in this matter the events gave very good results".

The call was also very positive; in total 234 people, including integrators, security managers and end customers, responded to the invitation.

For William Espinosa, Project Director in Electronic Security at SISE Seguridad, in this industry it is essential to remain updated and this type of events are very useful to know the new technology and its scope. "With the HikvisionPro concept we are talking about cutting-edge technology with affordable value, which is what the customer is looking for. Events are of utmost importance, they allow us to know more about the product. That way, we feel more confident and we are more accurate to give the respective information to the client," he said.

The HikvisionPro concept surprised attendees. The characteristics of the equipment and its demonstrations made it clear that in Hikvison they can find a partner for large-scale projects in any application, from citizen security to mobile surveillance and for Banks, at very affordable prices.

"The HikvisionPro concept will be increasingly present in distribution channels and closer to the main projects in the country. Similar events have already been advanced in Brazil and Chile, where it has also had a very good reception among users. The next step will be to bring HikvisionPro to the rest of Latin America, essentially to Mexico, Peru and countries in the southern cone," Garcia said.
