Mexico. Dormakaba presented its first manufacturing plant in Nogales, Sonora; where the importance of the investment of the project is highlighted , which consisted of US$2.7 million and contributed to the creation of 200 direct jobs.
Mayor Cuauhtémoc Galindo, along with investor Riet Cadonau, as well as Government Secretary Miguel Pompa Corella and local businessmen, cut the inaugural ribbon of the plant installed in the San Carlos industrial park.
Through this first plant and complementary business development actions, dormakaba confirms its commitment to its customers and associates, seeking to establish more favorable and accessible business conditions for the Mexican market, while strengthening its logistics capabilities throughout the Americas.
The attraction of investors to this city represents for the administration the concretion of the joint effort of entrepreneurs to attract and establish companies on this border.
After the opening ceremony of the dormakaba company, Pompa Corella stressed that the arrival of the company in Sonoran lands fits perfectly because this week and on the instructions of the governor began the Week of Health and Safety in Employment, where on Monday the fifth edition of the Productivity Committee of the State of Sonora was inaugurated.
"That is where you see the importance of giving added value to workers, on Monday an important agreement was signed, where just as companies are certified in ISO-9000 and other programs, now employees or workers can be certified and that will serve them to go to other companies and represent greater income for them, "- Explained.
The opening of this plant represents for the city an opportunity for growth, as well as a green card for Nogales first of all, for the qualified workforce and its security as a destination to settle.
