Advantech is a global provider of industrial and integrated automation solutions, which will be incorporated into Mobotix cameras for video applications in public transport services, emergency services vehicles and freight transport. Some examples of application are passenger counting, heat mapping and crowd control.

Advantech has been providing automation solutions and integrated systems in the transport and logistics sector since 1983. They consist of certified industrial computers and solid displays. In response to a growing demand for video surveillance and applications, Advantech Europe has initiated a strategic collaboration with Mobotix, manufacturer of high-resolution intelligent IP cameras and video management systems (VMS). Examples of applications that benefit from this collaboration: surveillance of the transport of people and goods, the transport of money and valuables and service providers.
