Technological advances lead to the creation of new business models

International. RISCO Group held last September in Malaga together with its partner EXSI, a company dedicated to the distribution of security equipment, an event under the title "New generation of security", where it brought together more than 50 professionals from the area.

The objective of the event was to show its partners the advantages that technology is bringing to the security sector, and how it is helping to open the market to other business models, and therefore to its growth.

Borja García-Albi, Vice President in Iberia and Latin America of RISCO Group, began the event by presenting the company and then talked about how technology has been crucial for generational changes showing different examples and then talking about the generational changes in the security sector.

He stressed that, thanks to the technological advances caused by this new business model, it has been possible to incorporate new services to offer to customers and that also allow the segmentation of the market according to their needs. Undoubtedly, this change represents a great growth within the industry.

Other strengths of this new business model are that you can manage remotely, pay only per use or have security systems with more layers of services such as automation and video verification.

These are just some of the many advantages that are occurring as a result of the generational change that the sector is experiencing and that the RISCO Group team demonstrated to EXSI partners throughout the event so that they can benefit from the new possibilities that are offered now, most of them propitiated by the cloud.

"Our goal has been to demonstrate to our partners that this generational change brings with it many benefits for the sector. Technological advances open up a range of possibilities that we are beginning to explore. We are already offering much more than security and reaching new users. The growth of the industry is guaranteed for companies like RISCO that know how to get on this technology and innovation bandwagon", says Borja García, Vice President in Iberia and Latin America of RISCO Group.
