The Anixter Mexico Store, specialized in the SMB (Small and Medium Business) market, has at its disposal for immediate delivery, all technologies in security, infrastructure and unified communications.
After its first year of operations, the Anixter Store has managed to obtain great results for the value-added wholesaler, both in boosting sales volume and approaching channel partners through specialized courses and training.
Specifically, the company has achieved a sustained channel growth of between 20 and 25 new partners per month with the support of this sales model. As for the channels focused on the SMB sector, the initiative has managed to represent around 15% of the wholesaler's total sales.
"Throughout these twelve months we have strengthened the technical and commercial skills of more than 106 channels, who have already proven that knowledge and a strategic ally like Anixter is the formula that will help them enhance business opportunities in the largest market in Mexico, also known as SMB", commented Alfonso Olvera, Vice President of Strategy and Development of the Organization at Anixter for Latin America.
In conjunction with this work, Anixter has also strengthened its portfolio of solutions by incorporating new brands such as Nortek (2GIG), Illustra, Holis, Northern, AMP of Commscope and Aruba Network of HP, which have allowed to raise the level of business and expand the spectrum of opportunities among its channel partners.
To maintain the success of the Anixter Store, the wholesaler plans to reinforce new courses in comprehensive solutions with issues of infrastructure, unified communications and physical security. The goal is to further boost business opportunities for its distribution partners and strengthen the Small and Medium Enterprise (SMB) segment.
