Argentina. In terms of security, you always have to be one step ahead. Therefore, this year the exhibition promises an academic program with a view to updating knowledge and training in new technologies.
In each edition the exhibition that brings together the Fire, Security & Safety industry offers an important space for professionals, with a varied program of academic activities that includes seminars, conferences, product presentations and new technologies.
Many options for different audiences: this is the objective of the organizers of Intersec Buenos Aires 2016, the International Exhibition of Security, Fire Protection, Electronic Security, Industrial and Personal Protection, which will be held from September 7 to 9 in La Rural.
The Argentine Chamber of Electronic Security (CASEL) and the Argentine Chamber of Security (CAS) are preparing conferences by various specialists who will display their know-how and experiences on topics of interest to the sector. It is a space for updating knowledge, debate and exchange of information.
Among the activities of CAS are talks on prevention in risk management, ergonomics, fixed installations and PPE.
Meanwhile, CASEL will present its recent Electronic Security Bill. The chamber will explain the fundamentals that motivated the initiative and the positive impact for the regulation of the sector. It will also offer a seminar on electronic security for municipalities. The activity is aimed at decision-makers buying urban public monitoring systems, panic buttons, and perimeter fences, given the growing demand for advice from the communes. Both activities are free and with limited spaces.
Firefighters from Argentina and Latin America will be the protagonists of the V Firefighter Skills Challenge 2016 and OBA Cup 10 years, organized by the National Council, Firefighters Foundation of Argentina and Organization of American Firefighters (OBA), under the guidelines of the "Healthy Firefighter" program.
The participants, individually or in teams of 4 members, must comply in the shortest possible time with the route of 5 stations of the circuit with their complete structural suit plus the Autonomous Breathing Equipment (ERA). To get around each station, they must use the skills they deploy in the emergency first response services they provide on a daily basis. The objective is to promote the training, healthy living and health care of emergency professionals.
In parallel to the exhibition, the exhibiting firms will provide technical conferences and product demonstrations presenting all the advances. Among the novelties and themes of this year it is worth mentioning: intelligent buildings, security in communications, new fire technologies, comprehensive monitoring software, alarms with internet connection, launches in safety clothing, renewable energies, among others.
It is important to schedule those talks that are of interest and attend well in advance since the quotas are subject to the capacity of each room.
