Latin America. Paxton, a leader in electronic IP access control and door entry solutions, has announced the integration of its network access control system, Net2, with Intreba's visitor management solution, Arke. The integration provides a personalized and easy-to-use service to meet different requirements of visitors on various sites.
Arke uses a user mobile phone to bring additional functionality for PIN-based visitor management through Paxton's Net2 access control. Users send an SMS containing the mobile number of their visitors through the Arke system. The requirements are then reviewed before a PIN is sent to the visitor, also via SMS. The use of the PIN on the site is monitored by the Arke client and the PINs are invalidated after use.
Paxton provides industry-leading access control systems that bring together the challenges and trends of the security market. With more than 30 years of experience, the company offers engineering excellence, creating simple, yet intelligent and innovative products with the simplicity designed into them, ensuring they are simple to install, use and maintain. The Net2 is our most popular access control solution with over 150 buildings being equipped every week. Net2 offers centralized management and control of range sites from one to hundreds of gates and thousands of users.
Intreba specializes in developing access control software that is perfectly tailored to meet the needs of its customers. The company creates software that solves a lot of problems, either by increasing efficiency, expanding functionality or executing new business strategies.
Kev Jones, Director of Intreba, said: "Arke brings powerful, SMS-based visitor input to Paxton customers. Comfortably supporting both commercial and residential deployments, Arke not only adds value to existing systems but also opens the door to new access control opportunities."
Chris Wilson, Paxton's Product Manager, said: "The Arke solution will provide our customers with ease and security in issuing and authorizing the PIN, and will ensure that customers can maintain the security of their buildings while providing easy entry for visitors. We are delighted to be working with Intreba, a company that places as much importance as we do on developing solutions to meet the needs of the security market."
