Latin America. Hikvision, the global leader in video surveillance products and solutions, launched Blazer Express, an easy-to-use, high-efficiency intelligent video management (iVMS) software station specifically designed to meet the surveillance needs of small and medium-sized businesses in the retail sector.
With a capacity of up to 16 or 32 network surveillance cameras, Blazer Express (with previously installed operating system), provides stores and service stations of a single location, as well as those with several headquarters, centralized video management, as well as easy operation, quick and simple installation through its configuration assistant; another benefit is automatic device detection to recognize any Hikvision device that is connected.
Ease of use
Blazer Express has a large number of features, which make it easy for users in the retail sector to increase the efficiency of their business operations. Among them, playback functions, live visualization and visualization of cameras associated with alarms through its simple interface, which allows you to easily locate the relevant video images through various search options such as tag, lock, interval and segment.
Thanks to an electronic map on the screen, which offers a complete overview of all the locations of the cameras, it is possible to directly view live video, as well as play and access events activated by alarms associated with each one, to achieve a quick identification of the event, alerting the operator to respond appropriately to the situations that arise.
The Blazer Express is designed for applications in the small and medium-sized business retail sector, integrates seamlessly with the existing point-of-sale (POS) system, associating POS transaction data with corresponding CCTV images, and helps identify and evaluate suspicious transactions and provide evidence that can be used in cases of customer complaints.
Gas stations, parking lots and vehicle entry/exit management applications are the ideal businesses for this solution, as it also comes equipped with the automatic vehicle license plate number recognition (ANPR) function. For its part, the people counting function can yield valuable data for operators in the retail sector that allows them to understand the dynamics of the flow of people in different periods of time.
The product features a plug-in mSATA design for convenient system maintenance. A convenient system monitoring feature monitors the service, storage, and operating status of the camera, to provide security for system operators.
Advanced and scalable operation
Blazer Express iVMS stations can be installed at multiple remote sites, using cascading mode for centralized video management. In multi-location operation mode, Blazer Express allows operators to access video and alarm information from retail branch offices in remote locations. To easily expand the system, in case it is necessary to add a new store, you just have to connect a new Blazer Express to the system and you can configure the systems of several locations to allow a Blazer Express customer to centrally manage the video material of all stores and alarm information, thus maximizing human resources and response efficiency. Additionally, to further improve remote management, Blazer Express-based iVMS systems can be accessed anytime, anywhere in the world using multiple free clients.
Blazer Express supports cameras that comply with the third-party ONVIF standard or private protocols, which helps make installation more flexible and save financial resources. Hikvision provides a software development kit (SDK) for seamless integration with third-party systems.
