The report details how Hikvision holds 19.5% of the global market share of CCTV and video surveillance systems in 2015, up from 16.3% in 2014.
In addition, the company has reached No. 1 in almost every single category that CCTV encompasses, including IP cameras, analog HD cameras, DVR/NVRs, and video encoders. From an 8% share three years ago, this data illustrates the rapid growth of a company that has become a technology leader in the industry.
