Hikvision owns 19.5% of the world's SHARE of CCTV, according to a study

International. The latest IHS report shows how Hikvision has once again maintained its position as the world's largest provider of CCTV and video surveillance systems for the 5th consecutive year. The report details how Hikvision holds 19.5% of the global market share of CCTV and video surveillance systems in 2015, up from 16.3% in 2014.

In addition, the company has reached No. 1 in almost every single category that CCTV encompasses, including IP cameras, analog HD cameras, DVR/NVRs, and video encoders. From an 8% share three years ago, this data illustrates the rapid growth of a company that has become a technology leader in the industry. Thanks to its persistent investment in the research and development of new and innovative products.

Speaking from IFSEC 2016 in London, Cynthia Ho, Vice President of Said: "We are delighted to see Hikvision's rise in the ranking of CCTV and video surveillance systems compared to previous years. This is thanks to continuous investment in research and development for new and innovative products.

Hikvision is committed to the advancement and convergence of technologies, and to the development of comprehensive security solutions, as demonstrated in the launches of new product lines and technologies at IFSEC 2016. Among the novelties were the PanoVu series, the Turbo HD 3.0 range, and our state-of-the-art thermal camera as well as intelligent analysis products for use in shops, transport and building management among others, he adds.
