Boon Edam presented its modern turnstiles in Mexico

Mexico. Boon Edam participated in Expo Seguridad México 2016. During this meeting, the company presented visitors with its most modern turnstiles that seek to meet the needs of users in the region.

Given the requirements of Latin American customers, during the last two years the company has concentrated on the technical training of the products and how to maintain and repair them. Likewise, Boon Edam decided to hire a technical engineer in Mexico City and arranged technical training for distributors and integrators in Latin America at its plant in Lillington (North Carolina, USA). "Hiring more technical staff and conducting training in Spanish has significantly increased the level of support and reduced response times to inconveniences for end users in the region," said Tracie Thomas, marketing director of Boon Edam.

Fortunately, according to the company, the Mexican market has remained growing and has shown that two of the important points to invest in is customer training and technical support, as mentioned above. Realizing this fact has allowed – among other achievements in the last year – that Boon Edam has had a significant growth in a sector as important as the automotive.

In this version of Expo Seguridad 2016, Boon Edam presented its turntiles Turnlock 100 total height, Trilock 75 (arm – allows free exit in case of fire alarm), the Speedlane 300 (optical) and the Speedlane Lifeline Slide (optical), the latter was launched last year in North America.

After her participation in the event, Magdalena Reyes – Business Development Manager of Boon Edam in Mexico – affirms that the balance is positive, exceeding expectations in terms of the number of visits compared to the 2015 fair. In addition, the company was able to confirm some projects and generate new opportunities.

"Really the response that was had by the clients was very positive and with future projects that will be developed in the short term" confirms Reyes. "During our stay at Expo Seguridad 2016 we were able to serve users from sectors such as industrial, petrochemical, banking, corporate, educational and automotive, etc." he adds.

The invitation that Boon Edam wanted to leave at the event and in general to all those involved in the security industry is to be part of the training days that this company has planned for this year in different regions of Latin America.
