With the main purpose of reaffirming its commitment to the Mexican market and responding to the explosive demand for Genetec's technology and services in the country, the organization informs the appointment of Mtra. Gigi Agassini as Director of Strategic Accounts for Mexico, based in Mexico City.
Gigi Agassini will be responsible for sales for strategic accounts, these being the largest and most prestigious institutions and organizations in the country in the areas of energy and oil, industrial, retail, cement, food and beverage, mining and entertainment. In addition, the executive will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives in national security and public security throughout the country.
Gigi's multi-disciplinary experience, having worked with system integrators, manufacturers and value-added distributors, will provide Genetec with the best guidance and support of the commercial opportunities presented to customers and business partners in the Mexican UNIFIED IP Security market.

Gigi holds a master's degree in communications and information technology from the Universidad del Valle de México and has a very successful 10-year career in the security industry in Mexico. During her career, she has worked in the area of sales and systems engineering of several Genetec System Integrators as well as Regional Sales Director at Axis, Sony and Anixter.
