International. Mobotix takes stock of its participation in the SICUR 2016 fair. The entire team of the company in Spain has attended the fair as well as some reinforcement technician from Germany, and even the Sales Director for Europe, Rainer Artelt, has been present at the Mobotix stand: "A fair as important as SICUR requires all our support, so I did not want to miss. I found it very interesting and I really liked to see first-hand the influx of people on the stand."
And this year there has been no truce in the Mobotix stand, especially on the central days, Wednesday and Thursday, the activity did not cease, all the people of the team as well as several of its main partners have been constantly explaining the various solutions of Mobotix as well as its particular philosophy to the visitors of the stand.
What they wanted to highlight most for being the most innovative has been the behavior analysis, which is included in the free MxAnalytics software that the cameras contain. With this behavior analysis, several actions could already be carried out such as speeding control, movement in the forbidden direction, normal turns, detecting if there is an object in motion within the image for more than x time, among others. And now exclusion zones have been added, in which you can create an area in which when a person or object enters, the camera warns you or throws an alarm.
Within also the video analysis, but not in behavior control but in security, Mobotix has the MxActivitySensor that reduces false alarms by 90% with respect to the movement windows, but also now it has been added the ability to tell you where the object that analysis has captured that is moving in a certain direction.
In addition, regarding thermal cameras, they have presented an evolution of the firmware that allows overlaying the thermal image on the optical image, so we can see the hot areas (at more than a certain temperature) and thus identify them easily without having to resort to another camera that has the optical image.
The Mobotix team has not stopped demonstrating the use of cameras at all times. The one that has attracted the most attention has been the demonstration with thermal imaging cameras, which are able to capture the temperature at which the objects that appear in the image are. They have shown the example of lighting a lighter that the camera quickly detects at any distance. And it is that this function of thermal cameras has many applications in vertical sectors, for example, for logistics of goods that have to be at a certain temperature, not only colder than a certain temperature but also hotter and that do not freeze, for example for pharmaceutical companies.
They have also shown the 6 megapixel sensors that are already incorporated in all Mobotix cameras, they are the Moonlight sensors. Ideal technology to capture moving images in color without them coming out of focus, even with illuminance levels of 0.5 lux or less. The monochrome solution allows for sharp images of moving objects with illuminance levels of 0.1 lux and below, which is equivalent to an almost dark room or an exterior in the moonlight.
