Colombia. Professionals and providers of computer infrastructure, telecommunications and structured cabling in Latin America are already preparing for the ninth edition of the BICSI Andean Congress, to be held on May 4 and 5 at the Colsubsidio Center in Bogotá.
This version of the event has as its main novelty the new name that groups the traditional Andean BICSI Congress now known as DataNet BICSI Colombia, a brand that obeys the alliance made between BICSI and Latin Press for its promotion and marketing. "It is a new name but with the same approach as always, which will continue to bring together IT directors, vice presidents and systems managers, telecommunications and network directors, data center directors and designers, infrastructure directors and systems engineers," said Alejandra García, Project Manager of the event.
The academic program is designed by BICSI, a professional association that supports the information and communications technology (ICT) industry and has 40 years of experience. The association serves more than 23,000 ICT professionals including designers, installers and technicians, who provide the essential infrastructure for telecommunications, audio and video, security and automation systems.
Partnerships and strategic media, allies of the event
As part of the work that LatinPress, co-organizer of the event, carries out with the main leading associations of the different specialized technical sectors of the Latin American region, DataNet BICSI Colombia currently has the support of:

- Asotic: the Association of Information technology and communications operators of Colombia.
And the sponsorship of:
- - The Latin American Security Association (ALAS), which brings together electronic security professionals in Latin America and seeks to expand the areas of knowledge and business of its associates.
For its part, ComputerWold Colombia Magazine is the official publication of the event, which will be offering quality content focused on computer infrastructure. Likewise, different portals and publications of great recognition in the national environment have joined as allied media:
- PRENSARIO TI Latin America
- ICT Solutions Guide

And as a strategic ally in business intelligence, Oxford Business Group, the market research company, has joined, which will also be offering VIP access to all the content of the portal for a limited time to all attendees of the event.
