International. The Sheraton Warsaw Hotel has replaced the fire alarm system it had with a Bosch security solution. In addition, it has implemented a voice evacuation system based on the Praesidio system.
The five-star Sheraton Warsaw is one of the most prestigious hotels in Poland's capital. Located in Plaza de las Tres Cruces, near the Royal Lazienki Park, the historic Nowy Świat Street and the Parliament, it has more than 350 rooms and suites, 18 meeting rooms with capacity for 650 people, an exclusive lounge and a collection of high-end restaurants. In addition, it has become the temporary home of several foreign embassies.
Bosch PraesidioAfter many years of operation, the hotel's technical and safety director decided to change the fire protection system and install an innovative and modular solution that would cover superior fire detection and intelligent voice evacuation.
The design bureau Instel MM, which collaborated with the integrator on this project, designed a solution with two networks of Bosch 5000 Series modular panels, which is managed through the 5000 series of remote keyboards. More than 1,600 automatic fire detectors, optical and thermal, and nearly 200 manual pushbuttons have been installed in guest rooms, meeting offices and public areas throughout the hotel.
Bosch MAP 5000The Bosch Building Integration System (BIS) acts as a fire visualization system and enables seamless integration of fire station operations and the voice evacuation system.
To ensure quick and safe evacuation in case of alarm, a Praesideo digital voice and evacuation system with 29 amplifiers has been implemented. It is compatible with more than 1,500 speakers and allows the distribution of intelligible evacuation instructions and directed to different parts of the building.
Based on the BIS and an open and modular system architecture, Sheraton Warsaw now has an interconnected security solution, which allows very efficient cost operations, with possibilities to expand and adapt to future requirements.
