Samsung Techwin America launched through its "Samsung WiseNet Lite Road Show" its line of low-cost and easy-to-install cameras. This line of equipment is aimed at the market of small and medium-sized companies, as stated during the event held a few days ago at Foro Masaryk in Mexico City.
WiseNet Lite cameras are the new bet of Samsung Techwin America, to offer video of the highest quality for multiple applications, at a competitive cost.
The cameras of this new line are the "light" version of the renowned high-end WiseNet III cameras of Samsung Techwin America and has eleven models between minidomes and bullets of 2 megapixels and 1.3 megapixels, which can be purchased at an affordable price for small and medium business applications (SMEs) or residences.
Among the most outstanding features of the WiseNet Lite line are the "corridor view", for monitoring narrow spaces such as corridors or tunnels and motion detection software; in addition to infrared sensors with a range of up to 20 meters. Outdoor versions are certified with IP66 (weather protection) and IK10 (anti-vandalism).
As part of the campaign #TúEresLaCámara to bring CCTV closer to end users and make it part of their day to day, Samsung Techwin America created in turn the IP Kits designed to offer a security solution to those end users who do not require high technical sophistication but need to protect their most valuable assets, such as the SME and residential segments.
These are packages that contain 4-channel recorders and 3 cameras (2 HD dome cameras and 1 5-megapixel 360° fisheye); 4 channels and 4 HD dome cameras; 8 channels and 6 HD dome cameras and 16 channels with 12 HD dome cameras, all with IR.
During the event "Road Show Samsung WiseNet Lite", Omar Murillo, Director of Sales for Mexico of Samsung Techwin America, stressed that Samsung thought of SMEs, which are not necessarily experts in security or IP technology, so they also made available to the public the IP packages, WiseNet Lite Kits, which have everything necessary for their installation and commissioning.
Murillo highlighted the 5 main distributors that have access to this product line: Otwo, Magocad, Syscom, Connectivity Center and Rowan Technologies; companies that will help the company reach the local market, as well as support in what refers to guarantees that Samsung Techwin America extends to the end user.
For his part, Oswaldo Lafee, Director of Marketing in Latin America for the organization, said that they have a great advantage in relation to all manufacturers of video surveillance cameras since Samsung, unlike the brands of the segment, is the only one that has a daily and daily contact in different products such as cell phones, refrigerators, televisions, indoor air conditioning, among others."
