Chile. The 5th edition of DatacenterDynamics Chile 2015, which will take place at Espacio Riesco this November 19, will address, among other topics, security in critical infrastructures, energy efficiency in data center design and the future of large-scale data analysis.
Security, infrastructure and services are the sectors in which the Chilean data center market is investing the most, according to different reports that also indicate that IoT, Big Data and Cloud are responsible for promoting an industry that is expected to end the year with a growth of more than 13%.
The 5th edition of DCD Converged Chile 2015 has brought together the most representative companies in the Chilean data center sector and the most recognized international speakers to show what the future of the data center that awaits us will be like.
Among the latest additions to the DCD Converged Chile program are: Fernando López Iervasi, General Director of Google Chile, in charge of inaugurating the event; Massimiliano Falcinelli, IT Security Systems at the International Atomic Energy Agency, who will discuss best practices in security for critical infrastructures; Marco Orellana, Corporate Manager of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Automation of Codelco-Chile, who will talk about the Codelco Digital project and Eduardo Vera, Innovation Manager of the Center for Mathematical Modeling of the University of Chile who will present at the event the new supercomputing center of the institution.
