International. IDIS announced partnering with Edge360 on a new Edge360 citizen security camera solution designed exclusively for law enforcement. The Edge360 Safe City camera - a rapid deployment solution, with a 1080p IDIS PTZ camera and 4G radio/GPS/Wi-Fi in a weatherproof cabinet.
This offering, powerfully functional and practical, allows police departments to install cameras in minutes, simply by installing to a pole or building and connecting to a power source. Communication via an associated video management system (VMS) is handled by a cellular SIM card provided by the police department, increasing ease of use.
