Latin America. AXIS Q1775 and AXIS Q1775 E fixed network cameras feature 10x optical zoom with autofocus; it also incorporates Wide Dynamic Range technology with dynamic capture. Network cameras are ideal for video surveillance installations that require coverage of long distances for a wide panorama, while also capturing image details for identification.
Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean – September 21, 2015. Axis Communications, the world leader in network video, updated its popular AXIS Q1755 and AXIS Q1755-E network cameras which offer 1080p HDTV, and increased sensitivity to day and night light, achieving exceptional image quality, even for moving objects. On the other hand, the cameras have an excellent quality in 48 kHz two-way CD-audio for high-quality recordings, perfect for sound analysis.
"Due to the similarity to AXIS Q1755, it is possible to very easily upgrade the existing video surveillance installation with the new generation of AXIS technology," said Francisco Ramírez, National Sales Manager Mexico, Central America & The Caribbean at Axis Communications. "AXIS Q1775 can also be easily integrated with other products, such as explosion protection and pan/tilt camera housings."
AXIS Q1775 outdoor camera is designed for security installations in buildings, controlling the perimeter of entrances and exits, allowing pole mounting for video surveillance of parking lots or in general circumstances in surveillance in the city. AXIS Q1775 IP66, IK10 and NEMA 4X Arctic Temperature Control, allows protection for proper operation at temperatures below -40ºC (-40ºF).
"Network cameras are small smart devices. Intelligent video analytics allows operators to analyze an incident that occurred, and then manage the situation and manage it," Ramirez added. "Operators are given advance notice of an incident, giving them more time to react. Many times we learn about incidents through an unusual or distinctive sound. This can be a scream, an explosion or perhaps a shot. Sounds are not detected by the video, but they are determined by audio analysis. The Q1775 and AXIS Q1775-E cameras deliver high-quality audio with a variety of applications for audio analysis by AXIS partners."
AXIS Q1775 and AXIS Q1775-E cameras offer motion detection, active alarm manipulation, shock detection and doorman capabilities (protection and magnification of detected objects). It also offers multiple individual configurations to H. 264 and video streams at full frame rate, offering various video storage options. The cameras also support intelligent video applications, such as people counting and a video hosting system, as well as open programming interfaces for software integration, including ONVIF.
AXIS Q1775 and AXIS Q1775-E are available through the usual Axis distribution channels.
