New high-performance IP mini domes strengthen Illustra's portfolio

Latin America. Tyco Security Products, part of Tyco, presents the Illustra Pro IP Mini-Dome cameras of high definition, with resolution of 3 and 5 megapixels, easy to install and configure. These cameras offer exceptional video quality and performance in different lighting conditions.

The new Illustra Pro   mini domes use critical  sensors and  system platforms that deliver the highest performance on the market. Mini domes are ideal for detecting fundamental details such as license plate numbers, faces and even blurred objects by capturing them at maximum image speed, in a wide range of lighting conditions, from full sun to complete darkness.

Illustra Pro mini domes transmit high-definition video, clear and crisp, at maximum frame rates, offering excellent performance and wide dynamic range in  the 5MP series and true wide dynamic range in the 3MP series. Built-in features like motion detection and analytics for bandwidth management, such as the intelligent region of interest compression feature, reduce storage and bandwidth costs without compromising image quality. The new mini domes are also Edge-REady supporting the use  of exacqVision Edge  video management software offering a complete IP video surveillance system without the need to configure and maintain the hardware of an additional video management server (VMS).

"Difficult lighting conditions require high-performance cameras that provide detailed, superior quality video images in all environmental conditions. This is the basis of our Illustra IP camera lines," said Mauricio Cañas, Product and Marketing Manager of Tyco Security Products' Video Line for Latin America. "Illustra's Pro mini domes respond to that need, while also being easy to install and configure, not to mention streamlined feature integration into the VideoEdge and exacqVision VMS platforms, an indispensable feature for today's busy integrators and end users. The new mini domes represent a major step in our commitment to responding to the basic needs of our customers and responding to their feedback."

Illustra's Pro mini domes are easy to set up, using virtually any internet browser to access the camera interface and control the various functions, including motorized zoom and one-touch focus. These new cameras can also be configured using browsers on smartphones and tablets, a novelty in the Illustra camera lines.

The Pro Illustra mini domes are available with various motorized varifocal lenses, housings and other options including models with IP66 and IK-10 degree of protection, suitable for low temperatures and vandal-proof. Installation is simplified thanks to the integrated options included  for hard surfaces and electrical box mounting, as well as a plenum rating cover for interiors and support clamps for recessed installations. A full range of mounting options and accessories are also available.
