They indicated that to date, thirteen companies were registered to be part of the bidding process that began on June 8. After registration, the acquittal stage of consultations and observations has been carried out, a period in which the Supervisory Body for State Procurement (OSCE) intervenes.
In the bases of the tender it has been established that the winning version will be in charge of the training labor in the use of these cameras to the personnel of the Citizen Security Management of the Municipality of Lima, the National Police and the General Corps of Volunteer Firefighters of Peru.
Invermet has been carrying out the necessary evaluations to install more video surveillance cameras in districts that register a high crime and violence rate. The cameras will also serve to monitor the state of traffic in the city, helping to make better decisions to address the transportation problem.
