Colombia. The 93 security cameras that are installed in Girardot were reviewed by the Secretary of Government Sandra Ivonne Serrano Arciniégas. The official indicated that of the installed devices only three have problems and must be changed immediately, thus ruling out comments that the security cameras do not work.
"Despite the fact that three security cameras at the moment have minor failures such as displaying the image in low color or problems with the rotation in the 360 degrees on its axis. In the same way, that one more that is a little inclined or 'crooked' given the latest weather conditions, the remaining 89 closed circuit television are in optimal conditions, thus providing the daily service of support to the surveillance of the different quadrants from our monitoring center here at the station, "said Serrano.
In the same way, the Secretary pointed out that the devices have been strategically located in different sectors of the city, in order to counteract the criminal procedure under the immediate identification of those who act in contravention of the law.
"This is achieved through the 93 cameras installed that have allowed us to advance a significant number of captures," said the Chief of Telematics in charge of the Monitoring Center of the Girardot Police Station, Mayor Adriana García, when presenting a summary report on the CCTV operation before the visit of the new Secretary of Municipal Government, Sandra Ivonne Serrano Arciniegas.
