Mexico. Schneider Electric inaugurated its Service Center in the city of Apodaca in the state of Nuevo León, head of the municipality of Apodaca and which is part of the Metropolitan Area of Monterrey.
The Service Center is the result of the new organization of the French multinational who announced last year the launch of its Services Division, making Schneider Electric the first global organization to offer solutions and services on a larger scale for the energy management industry.
With the aim of offering greater coverage in the north of the country for the installed base, Schneider Electric's Apodaca Service Center will be able to serve customers in the states of Tamaulipas, Chihuahua, Durango, Zacatecas, Tampico and Torreón, in relation to maintenance contracts, modernization of facilities and commissioning, as well as the manufacture of "Retrofits" and modernizations of the equipment of the installed base.
More specifically, this Center also seeks to assist clients in the planning, definition and design of solutions for their facilities, implementation of efficient, reliable and safe solutions; maximize the performance and performance of capital expenditures, reduce risks, improve the performance and reliability of facilities, control the aging of infrastructures, as well as the associated costs giving as a benefit more agile response times, having highly qualified and certified personnel closer to the area of attention.
"At the Service Center we combine consulting, hardware, software, managed and field services to help companies maximize their energy investments, leveraging our full range of solutions, including energy management, critical energy, industrial automation and energy efficiency solutions," said Alejandro Macias, Vice President of the Services Unit for Mexico. "This Center is the result of a strategic move by Schneider Electric to launch its global services division to focus on providing the industry's first end-to-end solutions."
The Service Center is the only unit specialized and authorized by Schneider Electric to service facilities and equipment of end users, in order to ensure the quality of each project be it industrial automation, electrical distribution, CCTV, cooling, as well as Data Centers, UPS and access control.
Thus, Schneider Electric increases its service infrastructure by 50% to support the industry in the North of the country, with the support of 20 service engineers, 10 engineers for "Retrofits", a repair floor for Medium and Low Voltage equipment, a test and diagnostic floor of equipment, with a high level of specialization and with cutting-edge tools exclusive to Schneider Electric.
