Brazil. The Extraordinary Secretariat of Security for Large Events (SESGE) of Brazil has used the services of Amper and its partner Rontan, for the implementation of the 27 Integrated Mobile Command and Control Centers (CiCCM) that integrated the Public Security actions for the Confederations Cup 2013 and that will also be used in other large events that will take place in Brazil in the coming years: World Youth Day, the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics.
Amper, through its subsidiary Medidata and in consortium with the Brazilian company Rontan, has developed the mobile centers (CiCCMs) in trucks adapted and equipped with communications systems, monitored video and an integrated intelligence platform for event management. The project, which has a national scope, has involved an award of 92 million Brazilian reais (about US$41.2 million). This operation is part of the new business plan of the Amper Group, based on taking advantage of the important "know-how" and experience that the company has in Spain in Latin America.
During the celebration of the Confederations Cup in Brazil, the trucks have functioned as outposts of Command and Control, from which the agents of different Public Security Organs (Federal Police, SAMU, Fire Department, Military and Civil Police of the States) coordinated joint efforts and had access to integrated information, which allowed to speed up the response capacity in relation to incidents or possible threats to the Public Security of the United States. every city. The vehicles, which will also be used from now on in the development of other major events in Brazil, can accommodate up to 16 professionals inside.
Operators will be able to visualize, monitor and analyze the information to help in making quick decisions in emergency and risk situations. The mobile centers (CiCCMs) are able to monitor and support all security operations of the games in the Arenas, Fan Fests, hotels and displacements of delegations, in addition to acting in incidents or unscheduled events that may affect the areas of operational interest, airports, places of great circulation and agglomeration of people, and scheduled routes.
These mobile centers (CiCCMs) are equipped with a complete infrastructure of information technology, communications and video systems that allow real-time monitoring, through images from thermal and visual cameras (installed in the truck itself), communications systems via radio, microwave and telephony between the operators of the center and the field teams, in addition to other intelligent technologies designed especially for the management of large events.

The company has led the joint work between the partners that have participated in the technological project, so that all the different platforms communicate harmoniously and transforming the vehicle effectively into an Integrated Command and Control Center. Various systems were implemented: servers, telephony system, network infrastructure, with switch, router, wireless controller, access points, communication integration system, intelligence solutions, monitored video and operational control, computers and peripherals, such as printers and televisions.
