Peru. The manager of Citizen Security of the municipality of Amarilis, Jorge Bravo, announced that at the end of the month they will install 12 video cameras in strategic places in the urban area with which they will strengthen the work of fighting crime. "The cameras will be monitored in real time to know what is happening in those areas," he said.
The cameras will be located in Los Portales, Vía Colectora, Calicanto, Paradero 3, Av. Perú, Paucarbambilla and Puente Huallaga.
He indicated that the six cameras acquired in the current administration, are added to the other six that already existed but were not used.
He suggested that if entrepreneurs have the possibility of acquiring other cameras, they can be monitored by the municipality, after agreement, since the equipment they acquired reaches 70 cameras.
