Reed Exhibitions acquired Expo Seguridad Mexico and Mexico Safety Expo

Mexico. Expo Seguridad México and México Safety Expo, the two leading events in Security in Mexico, were acquired by the company Reed Exhibitions, organizers of the ISC events. This operation will represent an added value for its clients, since it has a solid platform that includes exhibitions in the United States, Mexico and Brazil, however, the company Giprex has a contract with Reed to jointly manage the event, initially for the next three years.

After the confirmation of the sale, Andrea Ferrando, marketing director and founder of ESM and MSE, told VENTAS DE SEGURIDAD that "the fundamental reason for this decision is that we feel that in order for events to reach their maximum potential and provide maximum value to customers, we had to put them in the hands of a company and people who have effectively done so successfully globally and in multiple industrial sectors. Hence the choice of ISC and its owners, Reed Exhibitions. For us it was very important to continue working with the Giprex team as we have done so far and adding the momentum and experience of ISC we feel that it is the best combination to bring to Mexico 'the best of the best!'"

Expo Seguridad México, which will be held this year from April 24 to 26, will again be sponsored by ALAS (Latin American Safety Association), and will be held simultaneously with Mexico Fire Expo, Mexico Safety Expo and Facilities Mexico.

These events are held annually and have more than 350 exhibitors attracting more than 14,000 security professionals. Expo Seguridad Mexico 2012, on its 10th anniversary, already has visitors and buyers from more than 18 countries, including attendees from Central America. Mexico Safety Expo attracts professionals involved in industrial safety, occupational health and hygiene.
