. Bosch will celebrate a double anniversary in 2011 by commemorating the 125th anniversary of its founding and the 150th anniversary of the birth of its founder Robert Bosch, on September 23, 1861 in Albeck, Germany.
For these festivities, the company has organized more than 200 events around the world and designed an innovative interactive page that commemorates the anniversary (www.125.bosch.com).
The appearance of the company originated in the city of Stuttgart, in the south of Germany, when Bosch at 25 years of age opened its workshop of precision mechanics and electrotechnics, laying the foundations of the company that today has 300 subsidiaries and regional societies in more than 60 countries, in addition to a staff of more than 280 thousand employees worldwide.
