Swedish group Gunnebo acquired the Security Products Division of Australian company API Security Holdings, becoming the leader in the distribution of security storage products and money management solutions in Australia."This acquisition corresponds to our growth strategy in the Asia-Pacific market. The product portfolio and customer base we have gained will help us in strengthening our position as a security services provider in Australia," said Per Borgvall, President and CEO of Gunnebo.
The Security Products Division has 45 employees and is responsible for manufacturing, distributing and installing safe deposit boxes mainly in the banking and government sectors; in addition, it develops money management solutions for on-demand operations or with a set frequency.
